Liability for our own content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law pursuant to § 7(1) TMG (German Telemedia Act). However, pursuant to §§ 8 to 10 TMG we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Any liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement becomes known. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove the relevant content immediately.

Bookmarks saved by users

Folder names, addresses, titles and descriptions of bookmarks are created solely by users themselves or taken from the respective linked third-party website. These are third-party information within the meaning of §§ 8 to 10 TMG; no editorial review takes place and would not be reasonable for us to perform. The account that created this content is solely responsible for it. If we become aware of a specific infringement, we will remove the affected content immediately and suspend the account if necessary.

Preview data from third-party websites

The title, description, icon and preview image of a bookmark are fetched automatically by our server from the respective linked third-party website and returned unchanged to the app. We assume no responsibility for the accuracy, currency or lawfulness of this third-party content — the operator of the linked page is always responsible. The fetch is purely technical and involves no editorial selection or assessment.

Liability for links

Every saved bookmark is a link to an external third-party website over whose content we have no influence. We therefore cannot assume any liability for this third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.

Permanent monitoring of the content of addresses saved by users is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. Upon becoming aware of infringements, we will remove affected bookmarks immediately.
